My name is Amasha, originally from Sri Lanka, and I now reside in New Zealand with my beloved husband. Our journey led us to this beautiful country in 2023, where I've embraced a career dedicated to shaping young minds. Armed with a HND in Primary and Montessori Teaching, attained in 2020, I furthered my expertise with a certificate course in Child Psychology. For nearly four fulfilling years, I immersed myself in the Dr. Maria Montessori Method as a Montessori teacher at St. George International Montessori. Beyond the classroom, I find joy in exploring arts and crafts, particularly as a means to foster children's creativity. Currently, I'm honoured to be a part of the Mt Wellies preschool team, initially joining as a reliever and now serving as a permanent member, where I continue to inspire and nurture the young hearts entrusted to our care.
