Pohutukawa is our Toddler’s Room
The Pohutukawa is NZ’s Christmas tree which flowers during the summer months This reminds us of the toddler age group with our fabulous children’s personalities and ability to communicate and make sense of their world developing and flowering too. This is such a busy time in a child’s life, where they are exploring, trying to communicate, toilet training and generally testing all the boundaries!
Their room is spacious and allows for lots of choices of play. During this time their teachers work alongside them supporting their development of language, social skills, problem solving and the many challenges that this age group faces. This is done with warmth and compassion and in partnership with parents and whanau.
