Teacher, Mamaku Room (Babies)

Brief info

Kia ora,

My name is Amandeep Kaur Brar. I was born and raised in India, where I worked as a high school teacher for 12 years. During my teaching career, I developed a strong passion for supporting children’s learning and growth, which inspired me to further my education in Early Childhood Education.
After moving to New Zealand, I completed my Level 7 qualification in Early Childhood Education. This journey has broadened my understanding of child development, play-based learning, and the importance of building positive relationships with children and their whānau.

I am fortunate to have a loving and supportive family. My husband and our two children, a daughter and a son, are a great source of motivation and encouragement in my personal and professional life.

As an educator, I value creating a warm, inclusive, and nurturing environment where children feel safe, respected, and empowered to explore their interests. I am committed to continuous learning and strive to provide meaningful learning experiences that support each child’s unique strengths, culture, language and identity.

I look forward to continuing my journey as an Early Childhood educator and making a positive difference in the lives of young children and their families.

Aman
