Kia ora,
My name is Kathy Dawson, and I am the Administrator at Mt Wellies. I have two grown children Kim (our fabulous Centre Manager) and Bruce. I have been married for 40 years to Dave who is also our handyman for Mt Wellies.
I have been in the education sector since 1996 starting as a teacher aide at our local primary school and then advancing to the position of Principal’s PA/Executive Officer finishing in 2021 (25years’ service). I became the Executive Officer at another Primary School from 2021 to 2025. I then had the opportunity to become the Administrator at Mt Wellies in October 2025, which I absolutely love.
I love children, animals, especially cats, tropical fish and enjoy spending special time with my family, extended family and friends. I enjoy good music, going to the movies, shopping and being at home which is my happy place and supporting my beloved One NZ Warriors.
