Centre Manager
Brief info
Kia ora whānau and welcome to Mt Wellies!
With a Bachelor of Education (ECE) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (Early Years), I have been teaching and managing in the Early Childhood sector for almost 20 years. I have always known leadership was my passion and I have been the Manager here since 2018 and it truly feels like my second home (most people would say I practically live here!).
What makes Mt Wellies so special is our amazing whānau atmosphere. Every day brings new adventures, laughter, learning, and opportunities to grow together. I am deeply passionate about thinking outside the box, embracing creativity, and creating a centre that stands out for all the right reasons. Mt Wellies is a true reflection of that vision, and I feel so proud and inspired by our incredible kaiako and tamariki every single day. You really need to come and experience the magic for yourself — the aroha, connection, and sense of belonging here is something truly special.
Outside of work, you will usually find me out in the paddock with a variety of four-legged creatures. I love getting stuck in on the farm, showing off my cowboy veterinary skills, and not being afraid to get a little muddy along the way!
